Sawfish scripts
These require the patch to enable ARGB visuals which was committed into Sawfish trunk in February 2005.
- Translucent move: halves the opacity of a window (makes it translucent) while it is being moved. Modified from the original by Philip Langdale. Example (185 kiB)
- Translucency matcher: adds a window matcher based on the EWMH window type property and a setter for opacity so that, for instance, a user can set all Qt and GTK+ menus to be translucent.
- Translucency menu: adds a submenu to the window ops menu allowing the opacity level to be selected for a window. with the translucency matcher and sawfish.wm.ext.window-history, preserves the opacity of a window across sessions. Example (198 kiB)
- Quake console: allows a terminal emulator window to be undecorated by window frames and positioned at the top-left corner of the screen and hidden and shown alternately via a keybinding, much like the console found in id Software's Quake series of video games. Example (152 kiB)
